At the Victor's Group, and therefore also at Victor's Residenz-Hotels, people and their individual needs are our focus. This principle is an essential element of our mission statement and shapes our corporate culture. We live up to this claim in all areas—including, of course, our digital media. Our goal is to provide all users with equal and convenient access to our website www.victors.de. This statement describes the current status of accessibility and shows the extent to which legal and technical requirements are already being met. It is based on the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG) and EU Directive 2016/2102.
1. Status of accessibility
We are committed to designing our content in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformity level AA. Our website is regularly checked and adapted to ensure usability for all visitors. We do not use control elements such as separate contrast or font size selection, as modern browsers already provide these functions as standard.
2. Compliance with requirements
Our website largely complies with the requirements of the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) and WCAG 2.1. However, there are still some barriers that we are working to eliminate on an ongoing basis.
3. Remaining barriers
Despite careful implementation, restrictions may occur in the following areas: - PDF documents: Older files do not yet fully comply with the requirements. - Images: Alternative texts are still missing in some cases.
- Keyboard navigation: The focus is not consistently visible in all areas or set in the correct order.
- Videos: Embedded videos do not yet contain subtitles; audio descriptions are not available.
