3D archery is the ideal team sport for fitness and exercise – which is why it is absolutely on-trend. Not only does it help to combat stress and improve your concentration, but it is also a fun way to exercise your back muscles. As the first archery hotel in the Saarland, we have our own 3D training facility with an Olympic-sized outdoor archery range that you, as our guest, can use free of charge. You can also hire any equipment from us, so do not hesitate to ask. We will happily arrange courses for beginners and more advanced players (one-to-one and group coaching) with certified instructors from the DK Bow-Factory of archery; on enquiry.

For active archers
VICTOR'S SEEHOTEL WEINGÄRTNER is your perfect training camp. Either by yourself or with the whole club. We offer the perfect preparation for competitions and professional training.
Our head trainer, David Kossmann, holds the highest licence currently awarded by the German Archery Association DFBV, and is himself a successful competitive archer.
Other DFBV instructors are available as well as David Kossmann. "We optimise our participants' shooting technique based on the latest findings in competitive sports," explains David Kossmann. And not only do the instructors work on an archer's intuitive style, but they can also help to improve traditional target techniques such as gap shooting, string walking and so on. David Kossmann is also much in demand as a bow maker (DK Bow Factory), and knows all the tricks for the best way to set up your equipment.

Our archery facility
A 3D training area and an Olympic archery range (FITA/WA) with 5 lanes up to 70 m are available to you at our hotel's own sports facility. Our drying room can store your equipment as well as wet clothing and shoes. Thanks to its northerly orientation with the sun behind it and an adjacent wooded area that keeps out crosswinds from the west, our archery meadow offers you ideal training conditions. It was officially inaugurated in July 2018 by Lisa Unruh and Florian Kahllund, the dream team of German archery.

3D course
We work closely with the DK Bow Factory, which operates three WA and IFAA-compliant archery courses with 3D targets around the Victor’s Seehotel Weingärtner.
Bogensportzentrum Eborn
The Bogensportzentrum Eborn, located almost 18 kilometers away and located in an old quarry near Dienstweiler, is considered Germany's most demanding course. On an area of over 40 hectares, two different 3D course rounds and two field course rounds with a total of 118 stations offer ideal terrain for advanced shooters and professionals.
Schaumberger Bogensportparcours
Over 130 3D targets are spread across 33 stations around the Schaumberg in Tholey, just ten kilometers from the hotel. On the Schaumberg plateau, free parking spaces, a rustic refreshment stop with a beer garden (“Schaumberg Alm”) and a viewing platform offer additional amenities.
Biberburg-Parcours
In a quiet forest between Marpingen and Berschweiler, around 20 kilometers from the hotel, you will find the Biberburg-Parcours. This is designed as an almost four kilometer long circular route with 30 stations and over 100 figures.
