Although I have to travel to the area again, I would definitely not stay at the hotel. The details at booking.com stated there was a coffee machine in the room but there was not one. When I asked at reception, they said I hadn't booked a coffee machine so therefore couldn't have one. There was a kitchen in the room but no cups, plates, spoons or any utensils at all. Again, reception were belligerent and unhelpful and said I hadn't ordered anything for the kitchen (although at no time was I asked if I wanted anything in the kitchen). A 'live' electric socket was about 2 inches from the bathroom sink (it is highly dangerous for water and electricity to mix!!!). The towel rail in the bathroom was in such a position that the towels touched the toilet brush! Absolutely disgusting. There were insects crawling about on the bathroom floor. The room service comprised of the duvet being folded on the bed - nothing else! One of the lifts wasn't working. I asked to change rooms because of the insects but was told the hotel was full, which it certainly wasn't as there were only 3 couples at breakfast and the car park was half empty. Overall experience - abysmal. (I have pictures of the electric socket next to the sink and the towels over the toilet brush if you wish to have confirmation of my comments)
